Scholarships granted by Moldova State University:

SCOLARSHIP – is granted to both bachelor and master students, starting with the first year. The amount of the scholarship is established annually by ordinance of the MSU Rector or of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova.

SOCIAL SCOLARSHIP– is granted during the academic year. The social scholarship cannot be cumulated with other scholarships which the student receives and which are allocated from the MSU budget.

The beneficiaries of the social scholarship are:

  1. Orphan students of one or both parents, who have no income above the ceiling for granting the social scholarship;
  2. Sick students, in the records of the medical units, suffering from: diabetes,…
  3. Students who come from socially vulnerable families, with a net monthly average income per family member lower than the net basic salary per economy.

MSU PROGRAM “PEDAGOGUE OF THE FUTURE”

Moldova State University launches, in the academic year 2019-2020, the program “Pedagogue of the future”, which aims to support the first year students who have chosen pedagogical specializations with scholarships from MSU resources. The scholarships from the MSU budget are awarded during the entire period of the bachelor degree studies, with the mandatory confirmation of students excellent academic results.

MSU PROGRAM ” NOMINAL SCOLARSHIPS”

Moldova State University, at the moment, grants nominal scholarships from its own income to the first year students, the bachelor’s degree, who have chosen the following specializations:

  • Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry and Biology, with the contest average more than 8.00;
  • Social Sciences and Humanities, with the contest average more than 8.50.

MSU PROGRAM ” EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS”

Under this program, MSU offers three categories of excellence scholarships:

  • Scholarship in the amount of 1500 lei / month and free accommodation in the Student Dorms for the first year students with notable results at the national school Olympics, as students in the 12th grade.
  • Scholarship in the amount of 2000 lei / month and free accommodation in the Student Dorms for the first year students, who have achieved outstanding results at prestigious international school competitions, as students in the 12th grade.
  • Scholarship in the amount of 2000 lei / month and free accommodation in the Student Dorms for the first year students, who received distinctions at the international school Olympics, as students in the 12th grade.
