Distinguished colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the proceedings of the of the scientific conference with international participation, titled “THE SURVIVAL OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL TRADITION IN THE PATTERNS OF EUROPEAN CONSTITUTIONALISM”, organised by the Department of Public Law, the Scientific Research Laboratory `Comparative Public Law and E-Governance` and the Institute of Legislative Creation and Comparative Law.
The event aims to address the ongoing debate surrounding the persistence of constitutional tradition and its capacity to adapt to the developing demands of contemporary European constitutionalism. It will provide a platform for exchanging ideas, examining current challenges and opportunities, and promoting collaboration among researchers specialising in constitutional law and related disciplines.
Proposed Discussion Topics:
- Contemporary challenges in balancing constitutional traditionalism and modernism.
- The role of national law in upholding and strengthening the values of European constitutionalism.
- The impact of constitutional frameworks on social processes.
- Legal conflicts of a constitutional nature.
- Sustainable societal development within the framework of contemporary constitutionalism.
The scientific conference targets the academic community, state authorities, members of legal professions, and all those interested in the topics discussed.
The event will take place on March 28, 2025, at the Faculty of Law, Moldova State University, in a hybrid format.
Deadlines:
- March 1, 2025 – Registration for the conference program [Registration form HERE].
- May 15, 2025 – Submission of articles for publication, adhering to the provided guidelines.
