The Institution for the Protection of Minority Rights organises its traditional autumn conference called ‘Minority Protection in the Carpathian-basin’. This year, because of the pandemic situation, the event will be held online.
On the third day of the conference, our Institution would like to offer an opportunity to hold a presentation for Ph.D. students, Ph.D. candidates, or young researchers.

Date of the young researcher’s presentations: 14 November 2020
Deadline: 2 November 2020
The conference will be held via Zoom application
How to apply: by e-mail (jogvedo.intezet@kji.hu), with an abstract on max. 2000 words (with spaces and with a short CV
The subject of the presentation: legal or other relevant social scientific (e.g. political sciences) presentations about the protection of the Hungarian minorities living in the Carpathian-basin or the protection of ethnic minorities in general – in the national legal system, in the European or the international level
Duration of the presentation: 20 – 30 minute
Languages: Hungarian or English
Publication: after the coordination with the editors, in the light of the reviewing process, the Presenter could submit a paper to the Minority Protection scientific journal
The attendance and the presentation are free of charge.
